Incorporated  in  1977  as  a  Private  Limited  Company,  Mahavir  Minerals  Ltd. began  operations  with  3  mines  and 1 grinding unit.  Today Mahavir Minerals   Ltd.  comprises  of  15  mines  and  8  grinding  units  and  is  a  Public  Limited Company  with  associate  companies such as Mahesh  Minerals  (for processing quartz) and  RBBR Exports.     Mahavir Minerals Ltd. is one of the very  few  companies  which  operate  in  the capacity  of  mine  owners,  processors  and  suppliers.  This  enables  them  to  quickly  adapt to customer  specific needs,  due to  which  the  largest T.V. Tube manufacturer in Japan and a majority of Indian glass and ceramic manufacturers consistently sources their raw materials from Mahavir Minerals Ltd.     Mahavir Minerals Ltd. along with its associate companies, after having  achieved  a  leasership   status,  can  now  only  aspire  to establish a major presence in the global white mineral market.
